Special Nights:

  1. June 1: The New Market Police Department will provide FREE Child Safety Seat inspection checks before and during the game.
  2. June 6: All Little Leaguers in uniform shirt and/or hat will be admitted free and will join the Rebels on the field for the National Anthem. Your names will also be announced over the PA system throughout the course of the game.
  3. June 12 has been designated as Senior Night. The Shenandoah County Dept. of Parks & Recreation is sponsoring $1.00 admission for ages 65 & up. Advance tickets are available - call (540) 984-9502.
  4. June 14 has been designated as Smokey Bear Night.
  5. June 21 and 26 are Youth Camp Nights where students attending the Rebels Baseball Camps are recognized.

Valley Baseball League Playoff Format:

  • PLAYOFFS WILL BEGIN IMMEDIATELY AFTER ALL REGULAR SEASON GAMES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
  • ALL PLAYOFF GAMES WILL START AT 7:30 PM
  • THE TOP THREE TEAMS IN EACH DIVISION WILL QUALIFY FOR THE PLAYOFFS PLUS TWO TEAMS WITH THE BEST RECORDS FROM THE REMAINING FIVE TEAMS
  • THE EIGHT TEAMS WILL BE SEEDED BASED ON SEASON RECORDS
  • FIRST ROUND - QUARTERFINAL SERIES - BEST OF 3 SERIES - #1 vs. #8, #2 vs. #7, #3 vs. #6, and #4 vs. #5
  • SECOND ROUND - SEMIFINAL SERIES - BEST OF 3 SERIES - THE FOUR WINNERS FROM QUARTERFINAL SERIES WILL BE RESEEDED
  • THIRD ROUND - CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES - BEST OF 5 SERIES FOR THE JIM LINEWEAVER TROPHY - TWO WINNERS FROM SEMIFINAL SERIES
  • HIGHEST SEEDED TEAM WILL HAVE HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE IN ALL SERIES
  • TIE BREAKING PROCEDURES AND TEAM SEEDING DETERMINATION WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXISTING BY-LAWS AND OPERATING POLICIES
